Rules: Character Creation Mods
- Characters are built with 420 build points instead of 400.
- The core rules state that raising an attribute to racial maximum requires 25 BP instead of 10. Our rule is that it requires only 10.
- The core rules state that a character may only have 35 BP of positive qualities. Our rule is that BP spent on magician, adept, or other “class/race-based” qualities do not apply to this total.
- Starting Characters may purchase gear with an availability as high as 16. A character with the "limited gear" quality may purchase one item with an availability as high as 24.
- Leftover buildpoints can be carried into the game in the form of Karma. One BP equals two Karma.
