I’m a Loser 05.18.09
I don't presume to understand the fluctuations in my diet. I ate and drank like a man on death row while I was in Cincinnati, and I lost weight. I wasn't a dietary angel the following week but I ate much less and exercised more than I had the previous week, and I gained weight. Last week I exercised the same as usual and did a little better with my diet, and I lost seven pounds. Seven pounds in seven days- seems a bit much, eh?
I do what I can to keep consistent records. I weigh myself at the same time every Monday morning, before I workout. I use the same set of scales and hydrate on Sunday to make sure I'm not measuring water loss. But the measurements still fluctuate a lot.
I'm not going to complain because I'm thrilled to finally be under 280. My current goal is 270 but I'm already looking ahead to 260. If I can keep this up I will be at my ultimate goal by my birthday deadline.

I don’t presume to understand the fluctuations in any diet but I recently saw a show about how eating the right combination of protein/ carbs vs your blood type makes a huge difference. Maybe you found your ideal combo. I think Summer dieting is sooo much easier than any other time because we have fresh fruits and veggies and are more likely to be active. At least that’s true for me.
To your continued success!
