The following quotes were pulled from emails, website feedback, and blog comments. These quotes are honest and true; I copied them directly from source documents, typos and all. I have not displayed them in an attempt to boast or brag. They are here to remind me that my words can make a difference in people’s lives, that people do appreciate what I write. When I feel disheartened, disgusted, or frustrated, I come here to be reminded of my inspiration.

In 2007 Shannon entered Warlock’s Wake into the annual First Novel Contest hosted by The Writing Show. (At the time he hadn’t split the novel in two, so it was still technically called Heretic.)
